HALF HIDDEN amongst the parks, gardens and nature reserves of bustling London is the secret, peaceful world of the Regents Park Canal. Our four selected floating venues offer a unique ambience, excellent food and drink, and the opportunity to entertain in a setting often unchanged for over 100 years.
Whichever you choose, you will be rewarded by a rich variety of rural and urban scenery, glimpses of the canal´s history and views of colourful narrowboats, wildlife and locks and lock cottages. All boats cruise between Camden Lock and Little Venice - the most picturesque stretch. Past the Zoo, Snowdon´s Aviary on one side, the Antelope Terraces on the other. Through the Maida Vale Tunnel (skipper buys the drinks if he touches the sides!), into Paddington Basin and round (Robert) Browning´s Island. A delightful evening that your guests will appreciate. Our option runs from Cordon Bleu Dinners for 15 up to Dinner/Entertainment cruises for 78.

CURRENTLY OUT OF SERVICE
Since 1991 we have been promoting the flagship of the British Waterways Co. with great success. Although this beautiful Edwardian-style craft has just had a hike in charter rates it still remains good value for the larger group or for guests who will appreciate an amount of extra space. The full commercial galley offers high class catering and the recent appointment of a chef of Mauritian origins has consolidated her reputation for fine food. During the past 10 years we have arranged over 600 events ranging from a ´proposal´ dinner for 2 (*) to a sit down wedding for 40. Using the delightful canalside canopied mooring area a quayside Reception in the summer months starts the party off in style. Every event starts with a static 30 minute reception period.

On board the ´Lady Rose´ you will find quality carpets, furnishings and fittings, a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, a fully-stocked bar, a competitively-priced wine list and a very friendly welcome from staff that care. Additional hours cruising are £175 each (zero VAT).
Finger Buffets from £6.75 + VAT, Fork Buffets from £19.95 + VAT, Silver Service from £24.95 + VAT. 10% Service Charge. For either Background or Dance music you are welcome to use our powerful CD or Tape system. Or we can arrange live entertainment, i.e. Jazz Pianists/Trios, Blues Duo, Classical Harpists/Pianists, Close up Magicians, Caricaturists etc. Latest end time is 11.30 p.m. at the moorings.

One of the relative newcomers. Based on a traditional Edwardian design for Inspection Launches used by the Directors of the numerous old Waterways Companies for entertaining. Sleek lines with a surprisingly wide beam. Built in 1990 she combines old-style elegance and charm with the modern convenience of central heating, double glazing and electrics. Richly finished with mahogany and ash panelling with oak flooring. Very spacious open foredeck. Large saloon.

As the ´Prince´ can be hired for a minimum of just 2 hours for £380 this is the boat for the short Lunch or Cocktail cruise. Seats up to 48 for Silver Service and up to 60 (also utilising the foredeck) for Buffets. Finger Buffets from £11.70 + VAT, Fork Buffets from £14.95, Silver Service from £25.95 + VAT. 12.5 % service charge added to formally served meals and bar accounts. All above prices are for any day of the week. Full range of entertainment options from Jazz Bands to Casinos.
